A Brief Overview of the Badminton Estate

Famous for hosting the prestigious Badminton Horse Trials, one of the world’s premier three-day eventing competitions, the estate has a rich history dating back centuries. It is the ancestral home of the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort and encompasses a diverse landscape of rolling hills, woodlands, and meandering rivers.

At its heart lies the stunning Badminton House, an exquisite example of English architecture, although it is not regularly open to the public. The estate also features charming villages, cottages, and farms that contribute to its quintessential British charm. Beyond the equestrian events, the estate offers various outdoor activities like walking, fishing, and wildlife spotting. The Badminton Estate stands as a testament to both England’s aristocratic heritage and its enduring connection to the natural world.
