New Look at The Trout at Tadpole Bridge

Our eagle eyed and regular customers will have noticed that the Trout at Tadpole Bridge has a brand new look and feel. Following our recent refurbishment and freshen up, the Trout has recently reopened its doors and is looking forward to welcoming you to our little corner of Oxfordshire.

Nestled deep in the West Oxfordshire countryside The Trout celebrates the very best of British pub country life. Surrounded by rolling fields and the River Thames, the recent ‘sparkle’ saw the cosy bar and boutique bedrooms get a much needed update, which has accentuated its quintessential British charm.

Our six beautiful bedrooms are full of little luxuries to help our guests feel right at home. From king-sized beds, to stunning roll top baths, rainfall showers and welcomed additions such as tea and coffee and Roberts radios, to help you relax and unwind.

Customers can still expect exceptional food and drink as the kitchen team continue holming their passion for using seasonal and local produce to create delicious twists on pub classics. The Trout now has an all-day food offer so guests can enjoy warming food and a pint of award-winning Butcombe beer after a walk in the Oxford countryside.

Following our refresh, The Trout in is now the perfect place to host any private event. Our boutique inn has a range of stunning internal and external private spaces available, and full venue hire can be offered for larger occasions and weddings. We can’t think of a more romantic wedding setting than overlooking the ebbing river with the Oxford countryside as your backdrop. So, we decided to become a fully licensed wedding venue, so that you can spend your whole day with us. Our garden tipi is perfect for weddings, birthdays and parties, so whatever you are celebrating we have the perfect space for you.

Looking ahead to the warmer months, our large beer garden is ideal for al fresco dining, or soaking up some sunshine over a few pints. Not to mention our stunning location which makes us a haven for local dog walkers, ramblers and those floating past on the Thames.

Located 18 miles from Blenheim Palace and 19 miles from Oxford, The Trout Inn at Tadpole Bridge is the perfect base for exploring the Oxfordshire countryside, and the world-class walking, cycling and dog-walking opportunities in and around the Cotswolds.
