Attractions In Bournemouth And Dorset

The Pavilion Arms hotel and pub in Bournemouth is the perfect base for exploring the world-class beaches and Dorset surroundings.

We’re based just 15 minutes walk from Bournemouth town centre, where you will find the Upper, Central and Lower gardens. These Grade-II listed gardens date back to the Victorian era and have an abundance of flowers, trees and shrubs to enjoy as the river Bourne meanders through. We are also close to popular attractions like Splashdown, Adventure Wonderland and the Oceanarium.

There are around 10 miles of beaches in Bournemouth, so you will never be too far from the sand. Hengistbury Head beach and Boscombe Beach are both local favourites, while Sandbanks offers one of the finest beaches on the south coast and is also known as “the most expensive seaside in the world” – definitely worth a visit!

There’s no shortage of exciting things to do in Dorset, making it perfect for thrillseekers, with mountain biking, sailing, golf, paddleboarding, rock climbing, and picturesque walks to get your heart racing.
