Our eagle eyed and regular customers will have noticed that The Old House Inn has a brand new look and feel. Following our recent refurbishment and freshen up, the Old House has recently reopened its doors and is looking forward to welcoming you to our little corner of West Sussex.
Nestled in the West Sussex village of Copthorne, The Old House Inn is a traditional country pub, with elevated, luxury bedrooms that provide a home-from-home for all our guests. We pride ourselves on a very warm welcome, and offer the perfect base for a rural escape or overnight stay with excellent proximity to Gatwick International Airport.
Our six beautiful bedrooms are full of little luxuries to help our guests feel right at home. From king-sized beds, to stunning roll top baths, rainfall showers and welcomed additions such as tea and coffee and Roberts radios, to help you relax and unwind.
Customers can still expect exceptional food and drink as the kitchen team continue holming their passion for using seasonal and local produce to create delicious twists on pub classics. The Old House now has an all-day food offer so guests can enjoy warming food and a pint of award-winning Butcombe beer after a walk in the Sussex countryside or before their flight from Gatwick.

With easy access to Gatwick Airport, we are a superb venue for events such as weddings, private parties, and family celebrations – now with an even bigger car park to fit your party in.
