We’re delighted to announce that we have officially reopened following a significant refurbishment that has transformed our much-loved pub.
Set beside the beautiful Kennet and Avon Canal, our garden has become a true standout feature. We’ve created what we believe is one of the most impressive pub gardens in Berkshire: a refreshed outdoor bar, stylish new furniture, raised planters and decking, pergola for relaxed, shaded dining. It’s the perfect setting to enjoy elegant outdoor food and drink all summer long!
Inside, we’ve completely reimagined our bar, restaurant, and private dining spaces – including The River Room and The Orangery. Each space has been carefully designed to feel both refined and welcoming – perfect for everything from relaxed drinks to special occasions.
This refurbishment is just the beginning for us. Our vision is to create a true home-from-home—a place where everyone feels welcome, whether you’re joining us for a drink, a meal or a stay by the canal.
