Directions To The Ostrich From The Wave
Perched on the edge of the historic Bristol Harbourside, The Ostrich sits proudly with its huge riverside beer garden and cosy interiors over two floors.
To reach The Ostrich from The Wave, you must head north-west for half a mile and then turn left and continue for a further half a mile. Turn left towards Blackhorse Hill (B4055) and continue for 1.5 miles.
At Cribbs Causeway Interchange, take the 3rd exit onto Cribbs Causeway (A4018) and then, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on Cribbs Causeway (A4018). At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A4018 and then, at the following roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Passage Road (A4018). Continue for approximately 1 mile.
Turn right onto Canford Road (A4162) and continue for around 2 miles before turning left onto Portway (A4) and continuing for 3 miles. Continue straight onto Cabot Way and then continue onto Brunel Way/Plimsoll Swingbridge (A3029).
Continue to follow Brunel Way (A3029) and use the left lane to take the slip road to Temple/Meads/Bedminster. Merge onto Jessop Upas (A370) and continue for 1.5 miles. At Bedminster Bridge Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Redcliff Hill (A38) and then turn left onto Guinea Street. Turn right at Lower Guinea Street and The Ostrich will be on the left.
