This November, we’re proud to be supporting In Jolly Good Company, a fantastic local dementia charity, as part of our Community Week celebrations. Join us throughout the week for a series of fundraising activities as we come together to support an important cause in our local community.
The Giving Tree Launch
From 9th November, our Giving Tree will take pride of place in the pub. Simply choose a tag from the Christmas tree, purchase the suggested gift and help bring some festive joy to those supported by In Jolly Good Company this Christmas. Gifts will be donated 7th December.
Charity Raffle
Our Community Week raffle is now available at the bar, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs, including tickets to End of the Road Festival and a Sunday Lunch for two at The King John Inn. Pop in to purchase your tickets and support the cause.
Taking the Pub to the Community
On Monday 9th November, we’ll be visiting In Jolly Good Company’s activity day, bringing a little taste of the pub along with us. We’ll be providing alcohol-free beer, snacks and plenty of good cheer as we spend time with those supported by the charity.
Charity Quiz Night
Thursday 12th November | 6:30pm
Put your knowledge to the test at our Community Week Quiz Night. Teams of up to four people are welcome, with entry priced at £5 per person. All proceeds will be donated directly to In Jolly Good Company, making it a great opportunity to have some fun while supporting a worthwhile local cause.
