The Welldiggers Arms offers 14 sumptuous ensuite bedrooms, located within the pub and a separate annexe. Nestled in the heart of rural West Sussex we are the perfect location for a country escape, or exploring the South Downs.
We’re a true country pub, serving local real ales, spirits and cider as well as fresh, locally-sourced British cuisine.
The museum is situated on the site of a former chalk quarry and lime works, which operated from the late 19th century until the mid-20th century. Today, it stands as a living testament to the region’s industrial heritage, offering visitors a glimpse into the past.
