The Royal Oak has been under some work and renovations and we are finally close to unveiling the finished spaces! Alongside our usual spaces, our self-contained event space, The Pavilion, has a complete new look alongside our Pub Garden having a full refresh.

The Pavilion (Private)
Nestled in The Royal Oak’s garden, The Pavilion is a newly refurbished, self-contained venue for up to 100 guests. With rustic charm, its own bar, private garden, full TV, WiFi and wiring setup and even a vintage skittle alley, it’s ideal for celebrations, parties, or work events. Buffet dining options are available and bespoke menus on request.
The Garden Room (Semi-private)
A bright, flexible space with retractable roof/walls, perfect year-round. Seats 12 or holds 48 standing, ideal for meetings or social events.
The Garden
Our refreshed Cotswold garden offers al fresco dining with comfy seating, umbrellas, and fire pits for cooler evenings. Host a garden party with Butcombe pints, wines, and bespoke menus. Don’t miss the standout 8-seater firepit table – perfect for cosy, social evenings.
The Pergola
This covered garden retreat seats up to 20 and is ideal year-round. Relax with blankets on cooler days or enjoy sunny gatherings with food and drinks in style.
The Dining Room
Available for private or semi-private hire. Seats up to 48, with smaller sections for 16–30 guests. Close to the main bar for easy refreshment service.
The Private Dining Room (Private)
An intimate room for up to 8 guests, ideal for private dinners or meetings. Antique décor, full privacy with curtains.
