Dating back to the 16th century, The Horse & Groom is a grade II listed pub and inn near Malmesbury offering delicious pub food, award-winning Butcombe beer and comfortable rooms, making it the ideal place to drink, dine and stay.

From Highclere Castle, head east and join the A34 via Winchester Road and B4640. Follow the A34 north, then merge onto the M4 westbound. Exit at Junction 16 near Swindon. Take the A3102, then follow B4042 and B4696, continuing through Lydiard Plain and onto The Common. Join the B4040, then turn off to reach The Horse & Groom in Charlton.
