The George is closed until November 5th for essential improvement work and some careful restoration. Rest assured, as a Grade I-listed building all work will remain in keeping with the history of our beautiful inn, and we can’t wait to show you what we have planned.
Our sister pub The Fleur de Lys and accommodation at The Plaine remain open throughout the closure.

Hinton is located at The Plaine, situated across from The George. Please check in at The George.
This is a downstairs room and accommodates a family of 4 with a kingsize bed and a double sofa bed.
All rooms come with tea and coffee-making facilities, plasma TV and Bramley toiletries.
Pets are welcome in this room on request.
