Pub of the Year 2024

The George Inn has been crowned The 2024 Pub of the Year at the National Pub & Bar Awards.

The George team are very deserving winners of such an award, comprised of those who are dedicated to offering the best service and exceptional food and drink. They secured the top spot after being announced as the best pub in their region back in April.

This win is a brilliant addition to what has already been an exceptional year for The George, as Senior Sous Chef, Aimie, won Gold at The Pub Chef of the Year awards, in March. The George also recently became a part of the Butcombe Boutique Inns family, a collection of stunning inns offering an elevated home-from-home experience for guests.

General Manager, Linda commented, “This is absolutely amazing. I’m so proud and so emotional. I’m just so passionate about my team, the company that supports us, and obviously The George Inn and what we’re all about.”
