Directions: Cross the road from the pub to Hosehill Lake Nature Reserve and follow the paths around the lake. Loop around the meadow and lakeside footpaths, then return along the same route back to the pub.

Kennet & Avon Canal & Lakes Walk
Start/End Point: The Fox & Hounds, Theale
Directions: From the pub, follow local footpaths toward the Kennet & Avon Canal. Walk east or west along the flat towpath, passing pretty locks and lakes formed from old gravel pits. You can head toward Burghfield or just stroll along the canal then loop back to Theale.
