The Avon Causeway’s unique private dining space The Pullman is a decommissioned train carriage from the mid-20th century – perfect for all kinds of occasions and private hire events, from birthday parties to supper clubs and meetings.
The Pullman BRE 340 made its final journey in Easter 1979, arriving at The Avon Causeway eight years after the Palmer family reopened the old Hurn railway station as a public house. In 2021 the carriage was fully refurbished with luxurious and comfortable furnishings, and décor that retains all the charm of its 1960s heyday.
