Our pub and bar were described as relaxed and inviting, with our warm and friendly atmosphere standing out as a key highlight. The inspector noted the team’s polite, helpful and proactive manner from arrival to departure. Additionally, our wonderful Imogen received a special mention for her friendly and professional approach both over the phone and in person.

The dining experience was praised for its quality ingredients and excellent range of drinks, including our own non-alcoholic options from the Butcombe range. Cleanliness across the inn was highlighted as outstanding—something we are extremely proud of, and we thank our housekeeping team for their continuous attention to detail. Our refurbished rooms also made a strong impression, offering comfortable beds, attractive styling and thoughtful amenities.
