As custodians of such a beautiful, historic building, it is sometimes essential to undertake sympathetic repairs; we are undergoing some care on the roof of The George between 22nd April-16th May.
We are still open as usual and any noise and inconvenience will be kept to a minimum.

This Christmas, we’re inviting our community to come together and share a little joy. All month long, The George will be hosting a Giving Tree to help bring festive cheer to residents at our local care home.
Simply pop in, choose a gift tag from our Christmas tree and pick up a present for someone who could use a little extra kindness this season.
Every gift placed beneath our tree will be donated with love on Tuesday 23rd December.
